Consider me officially in the camp of allegiance to this laptop. This is the machine to watch.
Holding in its RTX 5070 GPU, the Triton 14 AI might have flicked away entry as the ultimate GPU power, but weighing hardly 3.5 pounds and measuring 0.68 inches thin, this has earned featherweight status. One can immediately feel that this isn’t really a gaming laptop-the proverbial wolf in sheep’s clothing. Acer has packed a lot of good stuff into a sleek, portable chassis-a gorgeous design loaded with endearing quirks, and a display so beautiful that it demands gazes. Forget about regular thermal pastes, because this allegedly increases thermal capacity by 14.5%.

Set your gaze on its dazzling 2,880 x 1,800 OLED display that runs buttery smooth at the ultra-fast refresh rate of 120Hz and carries color accuracy that is Calman Verified. It is a digital sentinel for intangible rights. Worried that somebody may now look at your screen? The dimming display of the screen works whenever your eyes move away, defeating even the most accomplished Peeping Toms. And if that’s not enough, say goodbye to unsightly smudges: Acer further boasts on an anti-fingerprint coating for both the screen and deck to keep your Triton looking spotless through the most chaotic sessions.
The Triton’s sleek silhouette could very well be a deception regarding its powerful connectivity. The powerful Wi-Fi 7 keeps things competitive, while two USB-C ports-one Thunderbolt 4 speed demon, the other a legacy Type-A pair-3.5 mm audio, and microSD card reader-all make sure your peripherals are well-covered. Larger screen gaming ? Easy ! Take HDMI 2.1 full-size under your wings. Being born for gaming means that the per-key RGB lighting shows its prowess in displaying your victorious journey.

Acer Predator Triton 14, AI? Enter shock! As American was kept in the shadow of mystery, courtesy of other insultingly egregious tariffs, the starting price in Europe was held at 2,999 euros. Ouch. Keep your wallet tightly closed for now, because this colossus drums serious heat under the hood. Pricier? Yes. Justified? Maybe.
Really want Predator power, but that Triton 14 AI price is scary? Acer has put up the Helios Neo 14 AI to fill the void. It has the beautiful Trilton display and seriously packs a punch with up to Core Ultra 9 285H and RTX 5070 configuration. The chassis might be slightly on the dull side, the AeroBlade fans are an older generation, and you won’t get faster Wi-Fi than 6E, but, with a starting price of only 1,699 euros overseas, the Helios Neo 14 AI makes high-end gaming somewhat achievable for a mass market. Prepare to shock the market with great performances!
Say goodbye to the soft refresh. Actually, the Helios Neo 14 AI doesn’t just shamelessly push the Triton 14 AI aside; it comes with a much bolder presence. Apart from the price, be prepared for a more robust construction with the notable overheating shelf in the rear, an aesthetic statement in the design meant to help with cooling.
